According to Motor Bar blog, the UK pick-up automobile market sales range were aleged to be around (in 2005/06) 35,000 pick-ups a year, and 30%+ were Nissan Navaras. Have they increased in 2010?
Although Nissan has been th UK’s largest car producer for the last 11 years, with 4×4 manufacturers like Mitsubishi, Range Rover, Jeep and BMW, Nissan aren’t usually considered first choice for 4×4 vehicles. Their small range of four wheel drive vehicles limits their customers, but they still manage to hold their reputation for good quality cars. The X-Trail is very important to Nissan’s 4×4 fortunes in the UK, along with the Navara and Pathfinder.
Nissan has been having a bit of a play around with the Navara and the Pathfinder for 2010, resulting in increased prices. But what are you getting for the new prices? The main positive points about these 2 4×4′s is that it is more of a real off-roader than a soft-roader (like some of the new BMW’s). The main differences between these models and there predecessors are the lower emissions and the updated interiors. The Pathfinder’s interior now includes DVD, SatNav, Connectivity, Storage and bluetooth streaming in one centre unit. Check this review by auto-trader for more info:
